In January 2026, Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) has five MBA admissions events, all of which are virtual, with no in-person events scheduled during the month. The January calendar is fully focused on online engagement and is particularly geared toward applicants preparing for Round 2 submissions and those exploring deferred MBA pathways.
Virtual Events
The virtual events begin on 3 January with Meet an MBA Alum, where prospective applicants can interact with Stanford GSB alumni and hear firsthand reflections on their MBA journey, application strategy, and post-MBA outcomes. As Round 2 deadlines approach, Your Questions: Just in Time for Round 2 on 5 January offers a concise admissions-led Q&A designed to address last-minute concerns and clarify final application details.

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.
3) Aligning with the Culture of the School
A big part of editing and guiding applicants is in educating them about the culture of the school
Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.
If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.
I will guide you through the writing process.
I will also iteratively edit the essays without losing your original voice.
On 9 January, First Fridays with GSB Admissions: Global Admissions Team provides a broader admissions update, covering application insights, campus resources, and student support structures, while Meet an MBA Student (LGBTQ Perspective) on the same day offers an informal small-group chat focused on the MBA experience through an LGBTQ lens. The month concludes on 27 January with Top Business Schools Discuss: Application Advice for Deferred MBA Programs, a multi-school virtual panel where admissions leaders share guidance on deferred MBA options and how to approach these applications strategically.
In-Person Events
There are no in-person events scheduled by Stanford GSB for January 2026.
