Duke Fuqua will host 15 MBA events in January 2025, with 14 virtual sessions and one in-person networking event.
In-Person Event
The only in-person event will take place on January 6 in Mexico City, where the Latin American Student Association (LASA) will host a networking social, providing an informal setting to learn more about the MBA program.

It is easy to comment, but it is tough to structure the essay from the perspective of the applicant and turn the essay into a winning application essay.

A big part of editing and guiding applicants is in educating them about the culture of the school
Some schools have very ‘specific’ traits that they are looking for in an applicant.
If you don’t highlight them and lean towards general leadership or cultural narratives, the essay won’t work.

Virtual Events
The Virtual Campus Visit Sessions make up the bulk of the events, with several opportunities to engage with Fuqua’s diverse student organizations. On January 21, attendees can participate in sessions hosted by the Health Sector Management (HSM) program, the Center for Leadership & Ethics (COLE), and clubs like ALMA and BBSA. These sessions repeat on January 28 and 30. Also on January 23 and 30, the Duke Armed Forces Association (DAFA), FuquaPride, and LIFE Club will host chats to provide insights into the student experience and highlight Fuqua’s inclusive community.
On January 15, prospective students can attend the "Ask Me Anything" session hosted by Fuqua’s Net Impact club, offering a student-led discussion on the application process and Fuqua life. Later in the month, on January 29, Fuqua’s Associate Dean, Shari Hubert, will lead a Blue Table Talk discussing non-traditional student pathways and how Fuqua nurtures hidden talents.
