Old Style: Use comma extensively, from every pause to, every sigh!
New Style: Use comma sparingly, keeping in mind the run-on sentences.
Run-on sentence: is a sentence joined together by two or more independent clauses without any punctuation or conjunction.
Ex: I saw a police officer I did not stop(Wrong)
I saw a police officer. I did not stop(Right)
