Cox School of Business saw a record breaking 58% increase in application for its MBA Program and is on target to see a similar surge this year. The increase in applications has led to SMU Cox to grow its full-time MBA class to 124, an increase of 12%. The job placements have become trickier with rising enrollments. Many students are using MBA as a hedge against the poor job market and time will tell whether this move would be fruitful in 2011.
